 6.1 Createand/orChangePasswords

For access to the commissioning funcons you will need to know the Admin Level Password, also known as Password 2.

If the controller has not been previously set up, no password is required and the user can either connue on to setup the

User & Admin Level passwords (see table below) or proceed directly to the secon of interest.

  PasswordFuncons:

• User Level – Calls up Password 1 in the program. This is for a facility user and limits changes to acve setpoints, fan

operaon, occupancy, and heang and cooling modes.

• Admin Level – Calls up Password 2 in the program. This is generally used by a controls technician to set up and

commission the EZstat. When set, will lock user out from setpoints, fan operaon, occupancy, and heang and

cooling modes.

Start at the temperature display.

1. Press the le and right buons below the display at the same me and

hold them unl the display changes to the SECURITY ADMIN LEVEL display

2. If Password 2 has not previously been entered, the display

will change to the MAIN menu. Otherwise, enter the password.

3. Under the MAIN menu, select ADVANCED followed by PASSWORDS.

4. Select the password you wish to congure and proceed to the next

screen.

5. Press either the or buon to program the rst digit of

Password 1 and/or Password 2.

6. Press the Enter buon to select the next digit.

7. Repeat steps 5 & 6 for all remaining digits.
